Step Eight: Finalization
"Sing to God, sing praise to his name, extol him who rides on the clouds [a] -- his name is the LORD-- and rejoice before him." Psalm 68:6.
This is the time to rejoice and party! When all legalities are completed, and birth parent rights terminated, we will go with you, your family, friends and, your child before a judge to have him approve and finalize the adoption, making this child a permanent member of your family! What a blessing and time of celebration. Cameras, balloons, flowers, and tears of joy will fill the court room as we all celebrate what an awesome God we serve and His might work in creating families.
